One of the best things about leading a Youth Theatre group is having the absolute privilege of watching children and young people grow into amazing young adults. I want to give a HUGE shout out to our volunteer Zak who has dedicated himself and his free time to Growtheatre Thursday Juniors for the past 3 years. He is a brilliant member of our team and all the Juniors adore him!
I first met Zak when he was 7 years old and joined Growtheatre. It has been a pleasure to watch him develop as a team player, a creative individual, and an all-round interesting person you would want to get to know, whatever your age!
Zak started volunteering with our Junior Group three years ago and I am so proud of how he has developed as a young drama leader – he is fun, playful, creative, sets clear boundaries, is compassionate and a good listener, fantastic role model, and the Junior’s greatest cheerleader! Thank you, Zak!
